Difficulty breathing through the nose can significantly impact sleep, exercise, and overall comfort. At Third Coast ENT, we identify and treat the underlying causes of nasal obstruction, such as septal deviation, turbinate hypertrophy, and nasal valve collapse. Our treatments range from medical management to minimally invasive procedures like Latera implants and functional rhinoplasty, aiming to restore optimal nasal airflow and enhance your quality of life.
Chronic sinusitis and recurrent sinus infections can lead to persistent facial pain, pressure, and nasal congestion. Third Coast ENT offers comprehensive evaluations to determine the root causes of sinus issues. Treatment options include medical therapy and procedures like balloon sinuplasty, which gently opens blocked sinus passages to promote drainage and alleviate symptoms.
Chronic or recurrent ear infections can cause pain, hearing loss, and balance issues. At Third Coast ENT, we diagnose and treat ear infections using medical therapy and, when necessary, surgical interventions like ear tube placement. Our goal is to alleviate discomfort and prevent long-term hearing problems.
Enlarged or infected tonsils and adenoids can lead to breathing difficulties, sleep disturbances, and recurrent throat infections. We offer surgical removal (tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy) for patients experiencing significant symptoms. These procedures are typically performed on an outpatient basis, with a focus on improving airway function and reducing infection frequency.
A perforated tympanic membrane (eardrum) can result from infections, trauma, or pressure changes, leading to hearing loss and increased infection risk. Our team evaluates the extent of the perforation and offers treatments ranging from observation to surgical repair (tympanoplasty), aiming to restore hearing and prevent recurrent infections.
Balloon sinuplasty is a minimally invasive procedure designed to relieve chronic sinusitis symptoms. Using a small balloon catheter, we gently dilate blocked sinus passages, promoting drainage and reducing inflammation. This procedure is typically performed in-office with minimal discomfort and a quick recovery time.
Eustachian tube dysfunction can cause ear pressure, pain, and hearing issues. Our balloon dilation procedure involves inserting a small balloon through the nose to open the eustachian tube, improving ventilation and alleviating symptoms. This minimally invasive treatment offers a quick recovery and long-term relief for many patients.
Chronic rhinitis, characterized by persistent nasal congestion and runny nose, can significantly impact daily life. Clarifix is a minimally invasive treatment that uses cryotherapy to target the overactive nerves causing these symptoms. Performed in-office, this procedure provides long-lasting relief with minimal downtime.
Nasal valve collapse can lead to difficulty breathing through the nose. The Latera implant is a dissolvable device inserted into the nasal wall to support the lateral cartilage, preventing collapse during inhalation. This minimally invasive procedure enhances nasal airflow and improves breathing comfort.
